A Passion For Aesthetics

“Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but beautiful older people are works of art. ”

― Eleanor Roosevelt

Beauty surrounds us in every aspect of life. Our brains are naturally wired to perceive certain visual features as pleasing and harmonious, whether it’s the vibrant colors of a breathtaking landscape or the flawless symmetry of a remarkable structure.

Facial imperfections, however, can send unintended signals that misrepresent how we truly feel. For instance, eye bags might suggest fatigue even when we’re well-rested, and vertical lines between the eyebrows can give the impression of anger. These misleading emotional cues influence how others perceive and interact with us. By addressing such features, we can improve our non-verbal communication, fostering more positive social interactions and enhancing our overall sense of satisfaction.

The most rewarding part of my career as a doctor has always been making a positive impact on my patients’ lives. Aesthetic medicine has given me an avenue to channel my artistic side, while many of the academic and practical skills honed during my medical career seamlessly translate to this field. This has enabled me to enter aesthetics fully prepared to deliver the high standard of care my clients deserve.

Unfortunately, the aesthetics industry remains largely unregulated, posing significant risks to individuals seeking non-surgical cosmetic treatments. Many practitioners lack the necessary education, training, and regulatory oversight that licensed physicians undergo. With full registration from the General Medical Council and the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP), two decades of NHS experience, and over eight years specialising in aesthetics, my clients can trust they are receiving care from a fully qualified and experienced doctor.

I also prioritize comprehensive post-treatment aftercare, ensuring clients can reach me with any questions or concerns at no extra cost. For me, continuity of care is not just a service—it’s an ethical responsibility to my clients.
